Can't believe I'm 40--how did that happen? Have a life I'm very proud of--Mommy to Noah and can't believe he'll be 5 in June (2011); wife to Patrick (together 16 years this May 2011), a great husband & father; and have the amazing fortune to be able to look back on all my mistakes and see how I've grown and learned from them. I may not always succeed, but I get back up! I love to write in this blog, but don't get the chance to do it as often as I'd like. I hope people enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy typing up the random things that pop into my head!

Hmmm...except for the really long beard, and the little suit (well, he does have one just like this one, but we save that for special occasions), this little guy looks a little like Dad! So, maybe I'll call it my grandgnome...would that work?

Okay, now I'm never going to be able to look at the gnome without thinking of my Dad...I think it also looks kind of like grandpa, after a really long fishing trip...
